    potential hot take: content warnings dont work as content warnings when they use obscure abbreviations that you have to be "in the know" to understand

    im talking about stuff like stuff like
    mh, ph and oh (which i still dont know what it means) and to a lesser extent others like pol and uspol

    when you see an abbreviation like this as a relative newcomer, it tells you
    nothing. your only options are to either open the cw to learn what its about and potentially see something you dont want to (completely defeating the point) or ignoring it and never finding out what the abbreviation means

    for a platform like fedi which prides itself on being accessible, this honestly feels like a massive oversight. why make the barrier to entry higher than it needs to be like this?
