      Todd Howard’s ego is so big, he should run for president. He’s thinks he’s god’s gift to AAA gaming.

      He makes Tim Sweeney, Phil Spencer and Randy Pitchford look meek. That... Unreal.

        The right partner? You mean the one that makes the most money. You partnered with Bezos, dude. The show is alright, but it was clearly made to appease a wide market. You didn't want a "video game movie director", but you still made the equivalent of the Mario Movie. A little more fan service wouldn't kill the show. Reading journals, hacking computers, feral ghouls, side quests. A little faster pace would help too.

        That's just my opinion. I'm sure other people will disagree.

        but they've had all of those things, plus VATs, Bloody Mess, chems, loot chests, loading screens, out of bounds glitches, kiting enemies, npc dialogue, buggy aggro, FISTO bot, HUDs, unmarked quests, vendors... there's a ton of fan service.

          I love how they now give Todd howard for doing nothing. Literally everyone can do that. I could've done that years ago, but i waited for the right time. I'm a genius

            Yeah, I don't know what they're on about. I was just doing a replay of F:NV, and the Strip and Freeside sets alone are enough to satisfy most of your fan service needs. There were little nods to the lore and game mechanics all over the place in both seasons, to the point where I actually got pulled out of the story a couple of times.

            I get why they didn't focus on feral ghouls, because this isn't The Walking Dead, but...

            ::: spoiler spoiler
            They are there, and Cooper in particular does drugs specifically to avoid going feral.

              Fallout shouldn’t have a show or a movie.

              Fair enough if that's what you think, but I've played them all, going back to 1 and 2 on computers where I had to check the system requirements, and I find the show to be very watchable and fun. Have you given it a chance?

                    I'm just sitting here waiting for the mysterious stranger to appear. I'm generally enjoying it though.

                    If there ever was a deus ex machina in a TV show that would be appropriate, it'd be this.

                      I didn't like the series, mostly because it was very vanilla. I would have much preferred if it was based on A Boy and his Dog, many of the 80s Italian Mad Max clones (2019, After the Fall of New York), Neon City and even something like Turbo Kid.

                      An arguement can be made that to make social commentary effective you need a bit more subtly.
