Tampopo, an 80s japanese movie about a woman attempting to become a great ramen cook, and more generally humans and their connection to food.

Funny, loose-thread (many small intermission stories), and feels to me like it spoofs or pays hommage to samurai and/or western movies.

The Running Man. I had very low expectations for this movie and man was I way off.

It was a steaming pile of dogshit. I am beyond baffled by Glen Powell. He is an “Adonis’ and has all the on screen presence of a block of wood. The guy is a brown enveloped stapled to a beige wall in a room with tan carpet.

In a specularly brilliant move Edgar Wright decided to have Lee Pace’s character wear a face mask…. I made it about an hour into this shit before I quit.
