“I misplaced a rib or something,” Portman confessed... “It, like, went under. It was from being lifted all the time. That was really wild.”I'm guessing that might not be a technical term, but I guess it's plausible since I'm sure most people being lifted like that have built up a lot of muscle and bone density that she might have lacked.
The big reveal in the article is that aronofski was weirdly trying to make them feud irl and they were able to figure it out immediately. Apparently they had been friends for a while and were texting each other about his anecdotes. I don't know why directors don't trust the actors to just... act? That kind of manipulative behavior is sick and clearly not needed since they didn't end up feuding and their performances were great.
