“For All Mankind” S5 Teaser

What an awesome show.
Yeah it’s become less believable as time has gone on, but it’s still a fun ride.
Strongly recommended to anyone who hasn’t seen it and is interested in the space, especially historically.
I think it pretty much peaked with Operation Jolly Roger, unfortunately.

Agreed, but like I said, still a fun ride. I’m excited for the next season.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if this was the last season. They colonised Mars, haven't watched the trailer, but how much more can they do?
Dip into interstellar travel, maybe?

Okay so hear me out. It's 2350, right? Humanity has expanded to the outer reaches of our solar system. Humaniry is divided into three classes of people, Earthers, Martians and those who live and work in space, Belters.
Mars has become a free nation and is now in the middle of a cold war with Earth. Then one day a ship named the Canterbury disappears and someone named James Holden, an earther working for a Belt based ice hauling company says his ship the Canterbury was destroyed and points the finger at Mars.
They could call the new show something like The Void or The Space Between.

Yeah, at this point I'm so locked in, I'm willing to go along for whatever shenanigans they're up to.

Show returns March 27
I love the show even as it's becoming kind of far fetched. I'd love it more if the break between seasons wasn't so damn long.

And somehow Ed Baldwin is still around.
Anyway, your theory is nice, but it has one fatal flaw: It was already confirmed that Andy Weir's The Martian takes place in the same universe as The Expanse and I don't see how that works with For All Mankind.

Ok, it's the year 40.000 and humanity is fighting a war against extinction (and pro-extinction as well).
And Ed Baldwin is the emperor of mankind.
-
It's the year 40k and for some reason people greet each other with "Hi Bob". Linguists still haven't found the origin of this expression.

How can anyone in 2026 say a plot line about world politics is not believable? The Trump administration is not believable.

Just like with every other series, I'll watch it when the last season comes out, and not a single episode earlier. Try it.

A Nicholas Fuentes is indeed a producer, but I don't think it's the same guy as the nazi incel. The nazi incel was born 1998 and producer Nicholas Fuentes has credits on IMDb as early as 2002, working as a graphics coordinator on CSI.
nice work, detective

I do that quite a bit but as a big sci-fi fan I feel like so many sci-fi shows get canceled after one or two seasons I should support them by watching them as they go.
With most other shows I wait until they end.
