huhh so today I got my kobo ereader, seems it's just a little ARM device running Linux... and they don't even lock it down that much, you can just connect it to your computer on storage mode, drop a tgz file containing files to add to/overwrite on the root filesystem and it just accepts it as an update regardless--
the community has made quite a few modifications already it seems, there's a couple whole new reader app (KOReader, Plato), some firmware patches (kobopatch), a custom actions/scripts/etc launcher for the home menu (NickelMenu), etc.
...hell, just KOReader alone has a whole plugin framework, a built-in SSH server, and more--
anyways, now the question is...
can I somehow run nix on it? -

so I cross-compiled statically linked Lix to armv7l, and ran it on my ereader... it seems to work lol--
