My thoughts also. What will they do with a charred corpse?

While I like Filoni and the things he's done, especially the final season of Clone Wars, Andor S2 has set a very high bar. I hope he's planning something that can match that standard because nothing currently in the pipeline will.

They shoved a bunch of canon into Legends before, they can do it again.

They could just tell everyone that 7, 8, and 9 were just a fever dream, and then start producing material directly from the expanded universe.
There's at least four obvious trilogies they can do. Pre-prequel: Old Republic Era and Dawn of the Jedi; sequel and post-sequel: New Republic Era and New Jedi Order.
And that still leaves them with the Cosmic Wars, Forgotten Ages, and Legacy Era for milking the franchise afterwards...

Now Filoni’s clear and free to do a Thrawn movie instead of him being the seasonal villain of another show.
Also!
There is exactly one scene in the sequels I absolutely love. It’s the flashback of Luke and Leia training with lightsabers. Make! A! Trilogy! Out! Of! That!
