Hi everyone! π€ I just joined the community and wanted to ask if there are more fans here waiting for PvZ 3
-
I wanted to share some recent leaks about PvZ 3 that are causing a lot of buzz:
-
Combinations like Ice-Thorn Cactus (Cactus + Ice Pea) and Sunburst Marigold (Marigold + Sunflower) have been confirmed β the latter generates extra sun while attacking. Firestorm Pea and Iron Wall-Nut are also mentioned.
-
There will be an online co-op mode for 2 players, where fused plants can be shared between teams.
-
It's rumored that the closed beta will arrive in Latin American countries (including Argentina) by late February 2026

Also, a friend from Chile named @marce-pvz@lemmy.ml replied to my first thread in Β !plantsvszombies@lemmy.mlΒ ! He already signed up for the beta and is just as excited as we are β hope he joins this conversation too

Here's a link to a reliable article with more details: https://roonby.com/2025/09/26/plants-vs-zombies-pvz-3-leaks-shows-fusion-mechanics-and-features/
Do you think the co-op mode is a good idea? I believe it will bring a lot of life to the game! πͺ΄π§β

οΈ"Hey everyone! Thanks so much for all the upvotes β really glad to see other PvZ fans here!

Just wanted to share some new updates I found:-
The plant fusion system is even bigger than we thought! You can make combinations like Snow Bell (Cold Slaw + Jumbrella Leaf) and Sun Tower (Twin Sunflowers), plus classic favorites like Gatling Pea are coming back as fusions of Repeaters.
-
EA just announced more limited tests focusing on the story and early-game progression β the plot centers around a meteor crashing into Neighborville, giving plants their new powers!
-
While the full 2026 release is still on track for Android and iOS, there's talk of Latin America getting early access to the closed beta later this year β fingers crossed Argentina is included!
Also, they've brought back the "Choose Your Seeds" feature that fans missed so much, so we'll get to pick our favorite plants before each level again.
If you're excited too, drop a comment below and tell me which plant fusion you want to try first!

οΈ""UPDATE: Just saw new discussions on EA's Answer HQ!

-
Over 5k fans are asking for the 'Choose Your Seeds' feature to stay permanently (it's confirmed now!)
-
They're reworking the lives system to make it optional, so we can play without time limits
-
The open beta for Latin America (including Argentina) is coming this November β you can sign up on the official PvZ site soon!
Also, no more pay-to-win stuff β only cosmetic skins and a small welcome pack. What do you think about these changes?

οΈ"Is it going to be more of that freemium crap? Because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED the first game, can't tell you how many times I happily bought across how many platforms. The second game though was a huge letdown. The switch to free-to-play with an emphasis on microtransactions was a huge mistake that ruined the integrity of the game.
