‘Everybody’s at each other’s throats’: James Cameron says he has left the US permanently

He’s profiting from a system that exploits workers, opinions are irrelevant

Can you show an example of the vile shit the non-conservative group is saying?
Generally comments on Facebook. I was seeing vitriolic death shit around the Charlie Kirk stuff but extended. Everyone in the comments telling each other to die and threatening. It was gross. Driven by bots it gets everyone worked up. Since the ICE “crackdown” though it seems to be just racists vs sensible people, and I’m glad for that.

Cameron is complicit. He just took a shitload of money from Meta

Every one of us profits from a system that exploits workers. There are workers who can't even get online, they're suffering more than you, and what little you have is partly due to their underpaid efforts.
Don't let imperfection be the enemy of good. We're all a part of a system that exploits others, so that can't be any useful metric as it paints everyone.

So if he hadn't made Avatar, they would have been better off?
No, if he hadn't been allowed to take billions of dollars in profits off the movies and intead the rewards had been more equitably distributed, they would have been better off.
I don't get what's so difficult about this concept. One guy doesn't do much work, gets most of the money. Bunch of people do most of the work, get very little money. Way too many people with no money, "this is the best possible system and I will defend it with my dying breath."

America needs bravery and leadership now more than ever.

Sooo… meta has less money now?

He always struck me as a pussy.
How many dives to the Mariana Trench have you achieved?
-
Exactly, in the article he sees the problem but instead of using his money to help he fucks off to be safe. He may not be an asshole but he's a a bit cowardish for it I feel even if he can still help from NZ it's more likely he will just focus on his life there than try to put out the gordian garbage fire that is the US
Why does a canadian have an obligation to help the US?

You mean aside from deepthroated support for genocide, right?

You're describing a valid criticism of Capitalism, which I share 100%.
I just don't think that translates well to a direct guilt for Cameron.
He couldn't have brought his movies to the screen if he didn't work within this system.
Of course now that he's been successful, he could definitely donate his wealth. On the other hand, I could also donate all $50k of my life savings without starving, while others are currently starving.
And I'm not going to do it. I carry the same type of guilt, only with lower numbers. -

Why does a canadian have an obligation to help the US?
He owns more wealth, property, and control of businesses in the US than well over 99% of Americans.

Americans made their choice

He hasn't done a decent movie since aliens but I guess your right. He is a pussy who has done useless things but didn't insist on building the sub himself. Like other dumb asses have and failed.

Must be nice to have the ability to do it.

He always struck me as a pussy.

Man makes his wealth through the American movie industry, leaves when America gets bad.
Yeah I'd say everyone has the right to be angry at that.
