here's something i never understood about the gamer psychology maybe one of you can help. why do they care so much about framerate . to the point of like turning off vsync or whatever so that it goes up to many hundreds of fps when their monitor doesn't even refresh that fast. like isn't that literally just using more gpu power for no purpose whatsoever like you're not even seeing those frames it's a literal waste
