like recently i was thinking that it'd be nice to give myself a cute middle name. but NOPE! not allowed
i hate this country's laid back shitty laws. it's rare that i praise the UK but there you can change your name whenever you want, without going to a court or following lengthy procedures or paying a bunch of money. you just get 2 friends to sign a piece of paper and done
germany? go and prove to a court that you have an important reason for changing your name. or be trans and get one (1) firstname change. because god forbid people have the right to CHOOSE HOW THEY'RE FUCKING CALLED -
