Day 554 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

Today's game is Mario Kart 64. I decided to celebrate finishing moving by just kicking back and playing this. I tried to setup cloud streaming so my friend could join me too but it didn't want to work. So i just kicked back and played a few races alone.
If you look at the screenshot you'll notice i'm only going 20. That's because of a joke i started with friends where i go about what i'd guess the speed limit would be on the cow themed levels. That way i don't accidentally hit any of the cows there. They love it when they have to wait for me to finish my 3 laps.
I also did Mario Raceway, but i more so just drove around taking in the sights. Like this field on the other side of the fence reminds me of the bliss wallpaper. I just thought it was an interesting sight.
Also, old news, but Mario is a big narcissist. He has a giant Mario Hat on the Bleachers. I mean, i know it's his track, but it's a little much. It'd be like if i bought a tower and plastered a big 'A' in the lobby.
I went and checked out the penguins to end off the night. I tried to find peace and forgiveness in my heart for them, their noise though made it impossible. I'm afraid i shall never forgive them for Mario 64. Still, i didn't try to drive straight into them so that's progress.
And of course i did Toad's turnpike to end things. I got bored, so i decided to try acting like i was actually driving on this road. Y'know, lane changes, signs, all that stuff. It was fun. Towards the end though i was trying to see how fast i could weave in and out of traffic while still being a reasonable driver. This probably goes without saying, but just in case, this is not how i behave on the road when i'm operating a thousand pound death machine.
That was all i got up too today, now that i'm freed it'll be nice to get back into what i was up too before. All i can really remember is Max Payne (and Halo of course, but the last 2 days have been Halo and i need a bit of a breather)
