Day 562 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing
-
Today’s game is Cult of The Lamb. Things have started going to utter shit after the last post about this game. See that guy above? Picked a fight and murdered another cultist, and then tried to dissent. If it was just the dissenting I’d let him go, but he killed someone so he gets jail time and reeducation for that.

Bodies also have been piling up, and I’m low on wood so I can’t just bury them. Surprisingly only one of them was of non-natural causes. The rest all died of Old Age. It doesn’t help that half my work force is just gone so we can’t chop wood at a steady pace, even after I built a second wood station.

I of course have taken to the main quests to get wood, and that’s provided a pretty good source. I even killed the second Boss, and I’m now ready to move on to the third.

Overall, this is starting to remind me of Oxygen Not Included, just a bit less brutal. In that game if one thing goes wrong everything starts falling apart. This is very similar where if one thing starts going bad, everything starts going bad.
Tomorrow I want to try and get everything sorted out. Maybe some more farms, and wood cutters. Hopefully that will be enough to keep things stable.
Followers agree probably the best resource. I think enlightenment ritual is super useful for getting devotion to unlock buildings and upgrades. You can also become a cannible which is significantly helpful for increasing faith with, again, is good for building devotion, plus no need for buriels. Most people pick grass eater, this advice might come too late.

For some reason his smily face makes me go LMAO.

Its a fun game! I have found sometimes the way of dealing with followers is...just to have less of them lol. Just letting them die, throw them into the compost and call it a day.
I just beat the new DLC. It was really fun! I liked going into the new areas.

Depends, at some points you need enough to progress. I might have been a little too controlling of my cult's population for my playthrough, because there were several times I struggled a bit to meet the requirement.
Haven't bought the latest DLC yet. I might return to it.

I liked this game and played it in co-op for quite some time.
When we wanted to jump back in after some time, my savegame was completely gone, as if I never played it...

I'm starting to discover that lol. It really makes things more manageable even if it is slower. It's a shame, i've really started trying to "save" everyone i come across since they always seem to be in some sort of Mortal peril

This cultist has been causing problems for a bit, i'm sure the lamb is more than pleased about this lol

I never end up being able to handle cannibalism in games. I think hearing about the Donner Party really put me off from it, even if they're as close as you can get to "Moral Cannibalism"

Understandable. I only felt pressure to pick a different route from my spouse.
