As player numbers fall, Highguard makes the actually-quite-good 5v5 mode permanent

Demand for new games will always be up, we aren't the audience, kids, teens, and new adults are. They don't feel any nostalgia for the past, they want the newest freshest coolest thing, they buy 2k, fifa, etc. every year simply because it's newz
Demand for new games will always be up
Sounds heard shortly before an industry crashes.

They still haven't changed their minds on anti-cheat support for Linux. They need to rid it, or turn on the box (since they're using EAC) and let Linux user play it.
That's why it's unplayable on Linux.

Highguard has an art style that is primarily concerned with selling cosmetics instead of delivering a hopefully unique vision.
Highguard, Finals, and many more have this "everything goes" therefore nothing matters style.
It's a call sign, that Deadlocks beta-design on old heroes has more vision.
It although shows, that hero shooters are not at the end possibilities.
The Finals at least is a fun as fuck game. The everything goes style also kinda makes sense considering the game is taking place in some kind of VR game show and both mocking of this kind of live service while being a live service game itself.
It's also not a hero shooter; Your dude is supposed to be you.

️Yeah I feel that Finals at least has a bit of style in it - basically a dystopian corporate unserious “we are quirky” “please the rich overlords” vibe
Which sounds annoying af considering that it’s a reflection of a real world but actually works pretty well for some reason
Also cosmetics are legitimately good - finger akimbo guns, stick revolver and bao buns grenade launcher are hilarious
I do think it’s one of the reasons why game is almost dead though - style is pretty bland on the surface which is why I skipped it initially until I tried to actually play it and was hooked

I feel like 75% of the hate for this game is literally just because they had a trailer at the end of the game awards that nobody liked. I kinda feel bad for the devs. The game isn't amazing, but it doesn't deserve this much hate.
I feel like a lot of it is dumb people jumping on the bandwagon. But I do think a lot of the dislike/ disappointment since launch was warranted, things like terrible performance, the long matches which had weird downtime. 3v3 on ridiculous sized maps.
I didn't like the trailer, and I definitely don't think it should have been the finale for game awards(hurt it way more), but the dumb hate wagon for it and calling it concord 2 was dumb.
